The resort is a combination of two heritage buildings – Central & Mountain Lodge - featuring colonial architecture. The Fortune Resort Central offers an experience of British India in one of the oldest buildings in Darjeeling. Situated on the foothills of the Himalayas at an altitude of more than 2000m, the heritage block built in 1905, offers rooms with all modern amenities. The multi-cuisine restaurant and coffee shop provides guests a view of Darjeeling and the surrounding mountains. The resort also organizes sightseeing trips in and around Darjeeling.
